Classic farce Rookery Nook finds newly married playboy Gerald Popkiss on his way to Rookery Nook with his new wife Clara and his mother-in-law. When his mother-in-law falls ill, he is forced to continue his journey alone and arrives at his destination to find a beautiful young girl wearing only her pink silk pyjamas. Thrown out of the house next door, she begs him to stay, which leaves Gerald trying desperately to find her some clothes while keeping her hidden from his new sister-in-law Gertrude and the meddling maid Mrs. Leverett.
