Men return from war to a masked ball at the house of Leonato, where the young, beautiful Hero falls in love with dashing soldier Claudio, and the young lovers dive into marriage. Soppy notions of love are not for seasoned singles Beatrice and Benedick, they prefer a spot of verbal jousting.
