The Donkey Show is billed as "a Midsummer Night's disco": it's very loosely based on Shakespeare's magical play. It's also a musical in the very loosest of senses: there are songs and dances, and there's even the germ of a story, but mostly this is interactive disco, with scantily-clad fairies (all but one male, despite the accompanying photo provided by the production) and two pairs of mismatched young lovers (all played by females) clamoring among the audience on the dance floor before eventually making their way to the stage to perform their numbers. Drinks are allowed (encouraged); most audience members mill about before, during, and after the show proper; willing audience members may find themselves dancing with the cast at some point during the festivities. Songs are disco hits from the '70s like "I Love the Nightlife." Overall, it feels much more like De La Guarda than a traditional musical show.

Must be 18 or older to get in (21 for late night weekend performances)
